John P. Stoner is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in healthcare strategy, finance, and organizational leadership. As a Principal at McMahon & Associates, John brings decades of proven success in guiding healthcare and senior living organizations through growth, transformation, and financial recovery.
​
John most recently served as Interim Executive Director of St. Joseph Care Center (SJCC) and continues to provide advisory support to SJCC's Interim CEO. From 2013 to 2023, John was President & CEO of The Village of St. Edward, where he led the organization through a decade of expansion, financial growth, and mission-driven care delivery. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategic Planning at United Church Homes (UCH) in Marion, Ohio, where he was instrumental in leading the organization's financial turnaround and long-term strategy.
​
Earlier in his career, John held key leadership roles at Akron Children's Hospital, including Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). His tenure there was marked by operational enhancements and significant contributions to strategic and financial planning.

John has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to governance and community service. His board involvement includes Catholic Diocese of Cleveland Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland Facilities Corporation, and multiple other for-profit and nonprofit boards supporting healthcare and community development initiatives.
