• Served as broker for the sale of a major senior living community with sales price in excess of $10 million

• Provided strategic and financial advisory services to a major law firm for approximately five years

• Served on numerous for-profit and nonprofit Boards of Directors in various Board leadership positions

• Provided executive and financial leadership for numerous corporate strategic plans of several health systems, major senior living communities, and a Museum of Art & History

• Identified and implemented revenue enhancement and cost reduction initiatives at numerous health systems and corporations that resulted in significant bottom-line improvements including a $27 million financial turnaround for one health system

• Provided strategic direction for national Surgery Center Company and its Ohio market    

• Conducted independent comprehensive evaluation of financial services for major for-profit orthopedic specialty hospital​ and provided numerous recommendations for improvement

• Directed refinancing of debt structure resulting in annual seven-figure dollar savings

• Directed all financial aspects of successful shareholder multi-million dollar buy-out

• Provided financial direction and significantly involved in the strategic direction of numerous corporate acquisitions of hospitals, nursing homes, physician practices, a health plan, a major home health business and a medical equipment company and joint ventures in surgery center, sleep lab, radiation oncology and special care nursery; integrated and centralized information systems, purchasing, accounting and treasury systems and staffing for all acquired companies, in order to reduce duplication of services, standardize products and enhance information processing 

• Implemented new investment policies including equity and fixed income securities to improve investment returns while maintaining reasonable levels of business risk

• Established and directed several off-shore captive insurance companies for hospitals and physicians

• Directed feasibility study, development and construction of outpatient facility ($16 million) and assisted in related physician recruitment plan to generate significant earnings growth

• Provided financial direction for construction of nationally recognized health and wellness center

• Provided executive coaching services to CFO of a continuing care retirement community
