SENIOR STRATEGY, FINANCE AND DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Patrick McMahon is an accomplished senior strategy, financial and business development executive. He has over 50 years of Board of Directors and management experience in the healthcare industry and in audit and consulting for healthcare, manufacturing, banking and other services industries.
​
Pat founded McMahon & Associates, LLC (M&A) in 2005. M&A is a consulting firm which provides business, strategic, financial, healthcare advisory and Board of Directors services and interim CEO and CFO services. Pat’s experience and expertise include financial turnarounds, strategic planning, Board governance, revenue enhancement, cost reduction, debt financing, mergers and acquisitions and systems integration among others.
Pat has served in several executive positions including CFO of a number of large healthcare systems and Partner with one of the "Big Four" international CPA Firms.

Directed all financial aspects of successful shareholder multi-million dollar buy-out

Provided financial direction and significantly involved in the strategic direction of numerous corporate acquisitions of hospitals, nursing homes, physician practices, a health plan, a major home health business and a medical equipment company and joint ventures in surgery center, sleep lab, radiation oncology and special care nursery; integrated and centralized information systems, purchasing, accounting and treasury systems and staffing for all acquired companies, in order to reduce duplication of services, standardize products and enhance information processing

Implemented new investment policies including equity and fixed income securities to improve investment returns while maintaining reasonable levels of business risk

John P. Stoner is a Principal with McMahon & Associates, LLC. John served as Interim Executive Director of St. Joseph Care Center (SJCC) from October 2022 to November 2023 and currently provides advisory support for SJCC's Interim Chief Executive Officer. John served as President & CEO of The Village of St. Edward from 2013 through 2023. Prior to serving The Village, he was Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategic Planning for United Church Homes (UCH) in Marion, Ohio, where he led its financial recovery initiatives and strategic planning. Previously, John served as Executive Vice President and COO and CFO at Akron Children's Hospital for numerous years. John has served or is serving on the Boards of the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland Catholic Charities, the Diocese of Cleveland Facilities Corporation, and numerous other Boards.
